Kenna nutritional biochemistry consultancy

I have a profound interest and expertise in health and science. I played soccer from ages 3 to 22 and competitively at the NJCAA and NCAA D2 level.

Since graduating in 2021 with a Bsc in Biochemistry and microbiology, I have spent years researching and developing my understanding of how the human body modulates itself on a cellular level through biochemical processes and nutrition.

In refinement of my expertise, I have developed the Veraedo research database - a health IT tool for accessing biochemical and physiological function, which I also utilize to support creation of Nutritional biochemistry reports (NBR(s)) for my clientele.

Areas that I specialise in:

  • Glucose and lipid regulation.

  • Enhancement of nutrient and cell permeation.

  • Enhancement of nutrient bioavailability.

  • Modulation of enzymatic activity.

  • Modulation of biochemical pathways.

  • Plant compound and human physiological interaction.

My approach

I take a completely science driven approach. Therefore my own lifestyle preferences, religion and beliefs are not a contributing or determinate factor in my consultation.

Furthermore, I believe in the aspect that you know your body best therefore I take the approach of listening first. I view your data and how you feel as a form of your body's biofeedback which I take into account during consultation and generation of a nutritional biochemistry report (NBR).

The process

Step 1. Fill out our client information form.
The information will be thoroughly reviewed by myself prior to consultation. This will allow us to maximize our time in consult (see client information form here).

Going into this initial consultation, I will have already reviewed your client information form and prepared a list of questions to clarify context and further guide my analysis and nutritional biochemistry report. This consultation will essentially provide us the opportunity to have an open discussion where we can outline tangible goals, clarify any of your inquiries and vice versa.

Nutritional biochemistry is highly nuanced, therefore I take a detail oriented approach by tailoring the NBR to each client.
Step 2. Book an initial consultation.
Step 3. Nutritional biochemistry report and review consultation.

You will receive your report via email and a link to book your review consultation (there is no charge on this consultation, with time capped at 2 hours). During this consultation I will explain the analysis and clarify any questions you have.

Things change based on your appointments with doctors, naturopaths, dieticians etc. For the next 2 months, you will have the option for a free weekly 30min check in consultation.

Step 4. On going support.

A page from a vintage nutritional guide displaying various food items categorized based on vitamins. The top section highlights foods rich in a specific vitamin, including leafy greens, fish, carrots, and a bottle possibly containing oil. The lower sections depict foods high in vitamins C and D, featuring citrus fruits, eggs, dairy, and other produce. The imagery is slightly blurred, adding a nostalgic feel.
